What is a digital beer menu / digital tap list?

Tapmenu.io lets bars, breweries, and restaurants publish a beautiful, always-up-to-date beer menu on TVs and phones. You create boards (screens) and add tap cards (beers) with brewery, style, ABV/IBU/SRM, sizes, and prices. Update once—changes appear everywhere in real time.

Can I show my digital tap board on a TV?

Yes. Each board has a public URL you can open on a smart TV, a small HDMI stick, or a mini-PC connected to your display. Open the URL full screen and leave it running.

Do you support a beer QR code menu?

Absolutely. Every board can be used as a mobile-friendly beer menu. You can also fetch a QR code for any board. Print and place the code where guests can scan it.

How fast can I set it up?

Create a board, add tap cards, assign them, choose sorting and a style—done in minutes.

What hardware do I need for a TV tap list?

Any device with a modern browser and HDMI (smart TV, HDMI stick, mini-PC). Keep it plugged in and full screen.

How do I sort beers on a board?

In Board settings → Sort order choose: Weight, Tap card groups, Alphabetical, Newest first, or Oldest first.

Can I continue numbering across multiple screens?

Yes—select a previous board in Continue numbering after board to chain numbering across screens.

Can I add a logo, description, and custom style?

Upload a logo, set venue name and description, and pick a style/template. Tapmenu.io branding can be hidden on supported plans.

Can I display sizes and prices for each beer?

Each tap card supports up to three size/price rows (e.g., Taster / Half / Pint) with configurable currency and units.

How do groups and badges work?

Assign beers to one or more groups (e.g., IPA, Lager, Seasonal). Groups have an order and optional colored badges.

Currencies, units & localization

Set your currency label/position and volume unit label under User localization. Boards adopt these settings.

Is Tapmenu fast and reliable?

Yes—boards are lightweight and optimized for always-on displays with modern browsers.

How is Tapmenu priced?

Simple plans that scale with your needs. See our pricing.

Is Tapmenu secure?

We follow modern best practices and use Stripe for billing. Public boards never expose sensitive data.

Can search engines index my beer menu?

Public board pages are crawlable and shareable. Use descriptive names and styles to boost local discovery.

Accessibility best practices

We aim for readable type, strong contrast, and clear semantics. For TVs, use large sizes and high contrast.

Multiple boards & team workflows

Create boards per area (e.g., Main Bar, Seasonals, Beer Garden). Chain numbering and assign distinct styles per board.
